Don't Be So Hard On Your Video Self

Do you hate watching yourself on video? Are you prone to giving yourself a rating of two thumbs down whenever you see yourself on video? If you do that you aren't alone but you are in good company.

Academy award-winning actress Julianne Moore says "I haven't seen any of my own movies...I can't sit there for a premiere or anything".

Jesse Eisenberg who played Mark Zuckerberg in the Social Network said of the movies he stars he stars in, "No,  I never watch...I don't like looking at myself."  

When asked if she watches the movie she star Reese Witherspoon said "I won't watch thems in because if I did I would  spiral into a state of self hate..."

Ok, you have to admit that Julianne Moore, Jesse Eisenberg, and Reese Witherspoon have no reason not to like the way they look on video. If you're in sales and your job is to sell yourself to a potential customer, you have no reason to not like the way you look on video either! Video gives your customers and prospects a more intimate look at who you really are.

Don't be afraid to be yourself. If you're starring as you,  be sure that you are going to look and sound marvelous.  In turn, you'll get a two thumbs up rating from your most important critics... your customers and your prospects.
